What is reserved stock?

Created by Matthew Stephens, Modified on Fri, 20 Mar at 10:29 AM by Matthew Stephens

Definition: Reserved stock is the quantity of a product that has already been allocated to orders but has not yet been dispatched.

This means the stock is no longer available to sell, as it is being held for existing orders.

Example

If you have 100 units in total, and 30 are assigned to orders:

- Reserved stock = 30 units
- Available stock = 70 units

Where to check

You can check reserved stock in Mintsoft by going to:
Orders → Filter → Warehouse → Reserve
This will show orders with stock that has been reserved but not yet dispatched.
