Why returned stock isn’t showing yet

Created by Matthew Stephens, Modified on Mon, 23 Mar at 1:05 PM by Matthew Stephens

If returned stock is not showing in your inventory, it usually means the return is still being processed or hasn’t been made available for sale yet.

Common reasons

The return is still being processed
Returned items go through checks before being added back into stock. During this time, they won’t appear as available.

The item hasn’t been inspected yet
Stock needs to be reviewed to confirm its condition. Until this is done, it won’t be added back into sellable inventory.

The item is damaged
If the return is damaged, it will be moved to the faulty/damaged returns location instead of being added back into available stock.

No action has been taken yet
If the return is still showing as awaiting action, it may not have been processed fully.

What to check

Go to:

Returns → Overview

Here you can:

  • Check the return status
  • See if it is still awaiting inspection or action
  • Confirm whether it has been processed

When stock will update

Stock will only update once:

  • The return has been inspected
  • It has been approved to go back into stock

What to do next

If the return has been processed but still isn’t showing correctly, contact support with the return reference and we’ll check it for you.
