What is a bundle?

Created by Matthew Stephens, Modified on Mon, 23 Mar at 11:33 AM by Matthew Stephens

Definition: A bundle is a product made up of multiple individual items (SKUs) grouped together and sold as one.

In simple terms

A bundle allows you to sell multiple products as a single item.

Example

If you sell a gift set that includes:

  • 1x Mug
  • 1x Candle

These items are grouped together as one bundle.

How bundles work

When a bundle is ordered:

  • The bundle SKU appears on the order
  • The individual items within the bundle are picked
  • Stock is reduced for each component item

Important

Stock is managed at the individual item level, not the bundle level.

If one item in the bundle is out of stock, the order may go on backorder.
